New anti-leak policies are really working Things are going well and the chaos at Sony (because of understaffing) is slowly getting resolved. There are exciting times ahead, but early leaks will be rare.

It looks like Razec won't be too busy for 2014 thread. There will always be leaks of some sort - they've said the same thing in the past.

Leaks are what increases people expectations and anxiety. It's actually good for a company as it gives them free publicity and most of the times a well timed rumor is quite advantageous for a company as people might even delay there buying decisions from another brand in favor of the rumored brand. So, I don't think any company would mind that. It would be an extremely stupid decision from Sony to be so strict about the future releases.

Remember iPhone when one of the employee just left an iPhone in the bar before it was released and some other person got it. Who leaked it's pics before it's release. The hype it created!

Also, I guess Sony might have knowingly delayed the 'Honami mini' release as it would have definitely affected the Xperia ZR sales that have just released.

How many times do I need to keep on saying that there is no way Honami Mini is real? Don't expect Honami specs in a smaller phone, really, don't.

Yeap absolutely possible. Although if they cut back on anything then it would be a dual core CPU I suspect.

What's there not to believe ?
This is not the only site that is talking about Honami Mini. There is nothing huge in this mobile that could be termed as a concept. The only change is the faster snapdragon 800 chipset that obviously is faster than quad-core snapdragon 600 chipset in Xperia ZR because of higher frequency. ZR also comes with a small form factor with all the features of Z including camera except for a smaller screen of 4.55 inch with 720p resolution.
Honami Mini is also supposed to be smaller with 4.3 inch screen with 720p resolution. With higher ppi. That's not a huge deal considering how fast the technology is moving. And if Sony won't move that fast then they certainly would be left behind in competition. Snapdragon 800 is already present in the market .

Oh well, it's you 'believers' who will be disappointed. A smaller handset with specs similar to the Z1 is just not happening, trust me on this.
