Samsung busted again for cheating benchmarks
http://arstechnica.com/gadget[....]ts-inflate-scores-by-up-to-20/
In real life, its equal and even slower in some benches compared to Z1

But it's relative isn't it, I mean are you really going to notice the speed difference? These day's most top end phones are pretty quick and powerful. I reserve judgment on the benchmarks as they are meaningless anyway in everyday use. The camera differences are more important IMO.

That's the point
For you difference in camera is the most important but for somebody else audio quality is going to be priority and for the third guy the most important will be inbuilt storage. Everything according to your needs
In this particular case it's not about seeing the difference in everyday use but about being fair in your actions and this kind of policy is not that fair.
Samsung as the market leader should be an example and if this is what they have to offer I think I'll pass. The same applies to every other OEM that tries to fix scores.

This Samsung article does not surprise me one bit...
Plastic surgery is so common in Korea, where supposedly 1 in 5 women in Seoul have had procedures.... Natural or fake, what it seems on surface is probably more important to them than anything else. And they feel no shame about admitting it (I am not saying they should or shouldn't).
Probably the same philosophy extends to benchmark tests too. Being Vain by culture, it musts mean more to them than other OEMs...
How you perceive their somewhat unnatural test scores is up to the individuals.

Minis these days aren't very mini. I think I need an Xperia Z1 Micro. I would have liked a slightly smaller screen, say 4", (which would also differentiate more from the regular 5" model). It's a long way from Ray and SX size.
