i m using internet on mobile plan. neigher free gprs nor mobile office. it's wap only plan for rs 99 per month.

hello friends,
sometimes it happens that there is no data transfer due 2 congestion in the network. if i try to disconnect at this point then the dial up connection freezes. in windows taskbar it shows that airtel connnection is not responding. if i press end task then everything loads(all icons in the taskbar like antivirus, vol. control, etc) again. and then all of my network connection disappears from the start menu. if i try 2 shutdown or reboot now then the system(win XP sp2) won't close properly. i ve to do a hard reset. has anyone experienced problem like this? sorry 4 slightly moving off the thread topic.

I had a similar problem earlier. Try updatin ur modem drivers... not from the cd. they r always old.try finding the latest driver from the web.

it is not working on linux as it is getting disconnect after 30second.
but mobile office is working fine for me

The trick mention can be use with two browser on the same phone?
I mean i am having p910i which comes with its default browser, i have downloded opera mini, so can i do like this
create two accounts one for defalut browser
and the another for opera with port 8080??
please guide me.

but these days error 504 are becoming a common sight, the gprs works good during the early hours but is pathetic during evening and terrible then afterwards!
i did "certian things" and now i can access from phone also!
but i am unable to make use of yahoo go! from my phone!
can some1 help me to make it work!

and the idea of continuosly ping-ing the server is not of much good!
becoz initially one may get a bit of speed boost but as the time passes, as a result of continuos pingin the airtel server goes bonkers! and then simpily doesn't works!
