@avmax Certainly sounds like good news. Like most here we hope you're right but aren't getting too excited as we've been disappointed before.

I have been disappointed too many times to be excited about something like this now. Honestly, I am not expecting anything exciting.

@All
2010 has been a good year for

. They are back in the black making profits, have introduced some very interesting phones in the Vivaz, X10, X10 mini, hazel and Elm.
X10 has been one of the main reasons behind the revival of

,(its the fastest selling smartphone in NTT docomo) selling quite well in most markets. And though it was launched early this year, even today it does hold well against the best of smart phones in the market right now as far as hardware goes.
X11 and X12 are indeed very strong as far as hardware goes, but then none of you should be surprised because we are looking at devices that will sell through at least the whole of 2011 and 2011 will see many more devices with same or even better hardware than X11 and X12. So I think nobody should actually feel that the specifications of both the devices are in anyway too good to be true or out of this world. They are at best par for the course with what the competition will offer.
So the challenge for

is in how it takes care of the software part and other aspects of actually convincing buyers that the X11 or X12 is better than the rest. And I also hope that with the X11 and X12

will speed up the software development side, and not disappoint like with the X10.
Talking about the software, the X12 will have a very unique User Interface. It will be a lot different from the X10 as

have for the X12 concentrated much more on the UXP than with the X10. It will have a unique Xperia Interface and will differ slightly software wise from other Android 2.2 competitors.
But will the 12 mp camera, powerful chipset and unique UI be enough to take

to the next big level? Only time will tell. I hope we are not dissapointed, and the X11 and X12 take

back to the heights it was a few years back and pave way for much better phones and faster launch of the Supersmartphones expected in late 2011/2012.

Thanks for the heads up. I start to believe what Texeira said in am interview he had when the opening of the new SE HQ at Atlanta. They're concentrated at user experience rather the software.

Hm....OMAP 4440 has same GPU as the Hummingbird from samsung...
and samsung claims 5x graphics performance of previous generation GPU (PowerVR SGX540, used in OMAP4)
that is bad news

...OK, what that mean, samsungs new Galaxy phones in 2011 will have 5x GPU performance of SE X12?!

@avmaxfan, I'm quite hopeful for these two phones but let's face it. These two phones will never be the breadwinner of SE. What I'm trying to say is; Any info about upcoming midrange SE androids? The x8 could have been perfect if it only had a proper cam. If Se really want to be the 2nd top android manufacturer then they should have at least 3 or 5.. Just like what Samsung is doing, right?
P.S. I know the x10 mini are available but any upcoming NORMAL midrange androids aside from those?

Most slimmest equipped with Xenon is Moto XT701 as I can see, it about 10.9 mm even though the review from GSMArena quite not good.
N8 from Nokia is about 13mm same as SATIO (17mm if included stylish lens cover) and M8910 from Samsung go up to 14mm.
As myself heard of AMOLED I'm bit of disappointed, okay it less power consumption but under sunlight it will be nightmare.
I would guess most supply from Samsung it dilemma as

use Symbian from Nokia
HTC Desire for example new unit has move into SLCD instead because short of supplying they can't produce enough as demanding needed and heard of inaccuracy touch experienced in some unit.
I hope

was about learnt from X10 experienced about late update OS and won't make it second mess.
I love

design-wise and their design-philosophy but also looking for good enough software even OS further support it still in doubt as EU project was launched in late 2009.
(They reducing firmware supported each model only 2 times as SATIO AINO for example only except of X10 I saw lot minors and will be major revamp soon - 2 times it out in six months half of handset life cycle I didn't expect of Apple did to Iphone but please at least 1 year of software supported Am I asking too much? >_____________
