On youtube there are many videos to teach how to fix it. But it has to be well done and carefully.
I know a guy from school, he had Z1. Screen got broken and he changed it himself.
He told me he could see glue when screen was on.
Now he has XA Ultra 2016. Pretty nice phone. It is not as big as I thought.
I am studying now, so I have no idea when I can get a new one. Money is being saved already.
If I dont like newer phones or price is too high for me I have 2 options.
A) XZ Premium chrome or XZ1 black.
B) Wait to see if the successor of XA2 Ultra brings IP68 and front speakers.
Something else guys... The exmor rs list on wikipedia has two new sensors:
- Imx380 : 12.4MP, 1/2.3", 1.55 micron
- Imx 408 : 2.2MP, 1/3.61", 2.24 micron
I dont think imx400 will have any successor any soon.
If the Premium/Pro has it, it would not make any sense to bring another phone with new sensor at IFA.

gitaroo - i bought a battery at witrigs to replace on my old xperia Z1. it's an OEM battery and everything worked like a dream. just make sure you get new adhesive so everything is nice and sealed.

I checked that place first, it was sold out of the z5p battery. The shop I checked mainly do screen repairs so I assume they know what they are doing. I can probably do it myself, but i have to get a heat gun, a good one cost about the same as getting somebody else doing it.

There's no reliable info out there except the ones that's inside FCC.
There's a mix-up between every information here that makes the features and even the design of the phone still abstract and can't be summarised.
We should see all phones in the wild in a few days (D-3 or D-2 maybe)
