Guys SAMOLED is Samsung's technology. But not AMOLED. SONY has been using OLED in its walkman Mp3 players since sometime now, and also in S001 Japan only phone. Sony will use its own OLED technology not Samsungs's SAMOLED.
And SONY is a competitor to Samsung in AMOLED displays also, SONY at CES showcased a larger OLED TV prototype than Samsung and it was also arguably better than Samsung's OLED prototype in terms of quality.

@avmaxfan
but SAMOLED has better picture quality, than AMOLED...and has better outdoor performance too..
anyway, OMAP 4440 uses PowerVR SGX540 GPU, right?
and screen must be 1280x720 not 1080x720, if it has 16:9 aspect ratio...
and what about X11 screen and camera?

Hm....OMAP 4440 has same GPU as the Hummingbird from samsung...
and samsung claims 5x graphics performance of previous generation GPU (PowerVR SGX540, used in OMAP4)
that is bad news

...OK, what that mean, samsungs new Galaxy phones in 2011 will have 5x GPU performance of SE X12?!
As far as I know, it is possible to have up to 4 POWERVR™ SGX540 cores in a device. Also, Sony is rumoured to have licensed to have up to 8 cores of PowerVR SGX545 in the next PSP2, which is about 500 million polygons/second in total.
We just have to wait and see.

I just hope the X12 would have Pentaband 3G like the N8. This means that we can actually have a choice when choosing carriers.
Also, how much would it cost for this? Do hope that SE won't charge us an arm and a leg like they did with the X10 launch.

Of course this will be expensive. I'm looking around my flat at what I can sell to make up the extra cash.

Err the X10 was hardly too expensive given the price of other smartphones in the range.
