@ Hobbster:
Off to Cape Point tomorrow.
Had another jol today; was in Table View's mall in the morning. Saw the G700 in a Cell C shop. Then we were off to Paarl, followed by Franschoek.
Last full day in CT before we head off to sleepy ol' East London on Thursday morning.
Loadsa worthwhile cellphone pics again, LOL.

You sure are getting around Wangs.Franschoek is where Im going to retire to when I become famous as an artist and start making my millions.Very beautiful. Its a strange place. On one side of the road as you coming into Franschoek you have millionaires/billionaires and on the other side, people barely making ends meet. But its quiet and away from everything.A nice place for an artist to be inspired.Enjoy Cape Point.Very sad I couldnt get to meet you.Maybe next time you here again or Im in your part of the world.

@ Hobbster:
Ya I gotta say that I was also really forward to meeting up with you in The Mother City. Oh well, there's always next time then. I really want to make SA an annual pilgrimage again, not this 2-3 year gap between stints. Miss the place a lot.

@ gola:
I've just checked the P1i pic I took of the ad: 'cash price R3849'.

For the contract okes it says 'R145 per month on Casualchat 100' with R199 pay-in.

The Eastern Cape is calling me, boet. Sounds like you've got a fairly 'rustige' day ahead.

WOW! R3800? Cell C really is good with pricing. I remember i got my phone for R4179 at Cell C, yet Vodacom have got it at R4700 and the 8GB Edition at R5700.

Wow, that really is cheap!!!! Tempting price, but it's got a whole lot of features compromised with regards to the n78, which most certainly will be more expensive: no AF,no GPS, no wifi and fm transmitter...
Vodacom is blo dy crazy!!

Hi Guys,

Still waiting for MTN the glen to get back to me regarding the SE G900. I phoned Sony Ericsson today and the kind gentleman who spoke to me says that MTN are the only resellers of the G900. Vodacom got stuck with the G700. Then I tried calling MTN's unhelpess 808 number to ask which MTN service centre has the phone in stock and they tell me to call another number. I called that number and the lady there says I have to go into a service centre to ask them to check online which SC has the phone in stock. Now either she's BSing me or the guy at the glen is, cause then he would've able to check that 2 weeks ago.

I will get this phone come hell or high water.
