Gola
Ye, with the current hacks its possible, you also get themes that change the icons if you dont wanna do it yourself.

Ye Gola is right. I just checked Elite Mobile and the N78 is free on most contracts. From Business Call (R185pm) and up. The N82 still requires a R1400 pay-in on those contracts.
Dam it looking at all this makes me wonder if i should have waited for it, but the Voda people had told me they were only expecting it in another 2-3months

ah well still happy with my phones.

@ gucci, Im thinking about n78, its not only cheaper than the n82 but more up to date, meaning it will have longer support in the future than n82 has left, but I will check on thursday!

@ gucci, the n78 doesnt have an accelarometer, right? I'd really buy it if it did, as n82 has such useful apps for the accelarometer...
Ive been thinking
N78 over n82
- screen brightness
-battery
-size
- fp2
N82 over n78
- accelarometer
- cam
- video
- tv out
- more stable fw
Damn it its a really tough choice!

@ Kryptik: It's pretty sporadic here most of the time, even on Vodacom, boet. The 3G icon on the P1i display is enjoying a friendly game of peekaboo with me throughout the day... Right,Wanqa's off 'kuiering' again. See ya'll later. :-)

Yep. The N78 doesn't have an accelerometer. If you are prepared to pay-in then go for N82. But if you can get both free i'd say take N82.

There is a hack to make the N82 screen brighter.

Hey buds, you reken is OK to pay R4000 (approx.. Euro340) for a brand new (boxed) N95-8gig? (from Durban,SA) Will I be able to get it cheaper in Europe? I will be in Switzerland for +-5days in sept. (business trip).
Will it be worht to wait for the N85? My N73 is toast
On another note,I am happy to see the 'Scorpions' soap/saga is entering the final stage. They are a embarassement for the government in particular and South Africa in general. See here -
