Yes the fact that i runned it through auto level in photo DJ didn't help at all in this case.
Yepp your pic is an improvement. Did´you run it through photoshop?

Really nice one from you seat in the plane! Where did you travel?
Did' you take that last one with document mode? I'm not to sure about using document mode...it seems to give grainy shots. Or?

yet another b&w shot. i've been wanting to post pictures with normal color balance but i dont dare just yet coz i'm not pretty confident with the camera's colour saturation. it's a little off, frankly. anyways,would be glad if anyone in this thread will give a tip or two on how to fiddle with the saturation. (f/ware CUSTOMIZED UA R1CA029 -- not planning to update the f/ware yet. )
regards.

@franique
I think the saturation and colours are just fine with this phone. And if you want to just play around with photo DJ:s setting and do it trial by error.

@fullforce:

Yep i used photoshop, it has very settings, i used "exposure", also i used Noiseware for removing color noise and saturation and applying a bit sharpness.

i expected more from "auto EV -0.7". because K850 has "fixed aperture", Ev -0.7 results faster shutter speed and as a result less blurry pic, but that pic was too saturated and a bit blurred. i wonder what's the effect of "document mode" on shutter speed and other things(maybe it's just software related ). if you could compare EXIF data of "auto EV -0.7" with "document EV -0.7", that would be very good.(if you want to do that you can use this tiny app or maybe you have one)

@franique:

My suggestion: download Noisware(free) use these settings:

could be helpful for all K850 pics(hopefully).

well, as far as my "gayest statue pictures" are concerned...hahaha....did not think about it that way....oooooooops....actually it is not the meaning of it hehehe. The whole is a monument of some writer! (And he was not gay as far as I know )
Well, the "problematic" statue is in reality on right..unfortunately not seen in this pricture:

@fullforce
I went up north to Penang Island, Malaysia for a 3 day getaway.
As for the last picture, Yes i did use the document mode but i have no idea why it produced that much noise.

here's a pic i snapped while i was out last night.

auto mode

auto macro, ev -0.3
