I think 20mpx is now slightly better than 8mpx

@Doministry, nice set of pics! I will examine them later on flickr.
As for the notifications, they do seem a bit quiet or is it me that forgot to crank the volume up?

Yes notifiations are lower
And they put this f.... Vine without ability to uninstall it.
But the 20mpx performance is great now
And even less noise alltogether.

Just look at the text on the white piece of paper:

Not possible before.

Considering the quality of 20.7MP images has been hugely improved, I think Sony should consider making manual SCN and HDR mode available on 20.7MP resolution. What do you guys think?
I personally want to shoot long exposure low ISO night shot with 20.7MP resolution :-3
Oh btw, after I compared 20.7MP and 8MP more often, here is what I found:
- 20.7MP has more detail than 8MP in most cases except when the lighting is poor enough
- The noise levels between the two are mostly on par, if not a weeny bit less in 8MP
- 20.7MP has more sharpening artifacts than 8MP. But those sharpening artifacts are less visible than on Z2 pre 4.4.4 and Z1, which is good.
