hi is anybody using linux to connect gprs? i am able to connect Moffice on linux but when i try to connect free gprs on linux it get disconnected in 30second .
may be coz it does not return dns.

it is working fine on mobile office but not on free gprs via airtel live

guys as dheeraj posted that he uses ftdi chipped data cable on his lg(gprs).....and gets speeds of upto 15KBps ......... ftdi ppl got all types of interface connectors....for phones........ i am planning to buy one too but b4 that i just wanna know whether it is possible for a nokia phone to increase its speed too.......i am using xp and server2003.........??? thx in adv

and can ne one get p2p apps workin...all i am getting to work is torrent clients
usin free gprs......and y does p2p apps dont work even in MO!!!!

Kazaa didnt work for me in MO but its now shut down forever. Limewire works pretty good for me with MO.

getting only good download speed but not surfing speed surfing speed is dam slow specially @night

but speed is ok on mo @night luckly i am able to use mo @ free on prepaid
since my prepaid bal is -11

i've never checked it in penta menaka but i am getting one from the gulf price is abt 1350-1700rs it also can be used for flashing,unlocking various nokia fones......

i am using internet download manager it is 100 times better than flash get

and i found new trick to use airtel mobile office @ free but it is only for prepaid users

wat speed do u get on nokia?
i mean connection speed between ur mob and pc?.
i have never tested ftdi chip cable on nokia but it works fine on lg thats why i purchased lg gsm mob. i think u can get good speed on nokia too try to connect it on linux
