host routing table under advanced options open it press the bb key and register now

Probably won't fix it but worth a try and certainly won't cause any harm!

Hi Superluminova,

Sorry if this sounds silly but being an enterprise Bold don't your IT department set it's policies and have to activate it for you? As i thought that was the whole point of having an enterprise device the IT department can control what you do and don't do on the device.

I'm lovin' my Curve 8900 - just need to get used to the smaller keyboard though. Quite impressed by the camera (having come from the Curve 8310 and Bold beforehand).

Hello dudes,

Anyone know how i can install 3rd party apps on my enterprise bold?

Install them the same way you would if you're not on Enterprise.

Ok dudes just had reset my blackberry and now when i access my emails it will just completely freeze?? i tried resending the service books but that hasn't helped. any ideas?

Odd sympton. By reset you mean just reseating the battery right? Not a wipe? If so try deleting Desktop [SYNC], [MIME], and maybe [CICAL] and in Options> Security Options> General, go to the bottom and highlight the listing under "services" and click on Menu> Regenerate Encryption key. Wait a few minutes (5 tops) and go back into service books and check if those are now listed - scroll through entire service books to ensure they're there.

If you're on BES then its most likely; depending on policies by the Admin - not the Helpdesk rep that you called into, hehe, has restricted 3rd party apps (some if not all). But in this case maybe retricted BBMessenger as you're able to save the email attachments to the microSD then send via BBMessenger and thus a security risk perceived by the IT department.

@Nanu, HRT is done automatically everytime you remove & reseat your SIM in the same or a new BB device. Basically the device talks to the network & to RIM APN to their infrastructure. It shouldn't be considered for troubleshooting; unless it doesn't occur - usually when Radio is OFF or no data connection (GPRS, EDGE, 1X, 1xEV, or 3G : all being in uppercase). You're thinking is in the right direction but not with HRT. Going to Options> Mobile Networks> menu Diagnostics> Menu = RUN and seeing if your corporate (BES) or personal (BIS) email address is connected THEN you'd have sound Admin troubleshooting.

@SuperLuminova, if those service books do not comeback contact your HD rep and have either him/her (if they have access to the BES Manager) or the BES Admin to resend you those service books - their not the providers' (Orange/Vodafone/O2/etc) service books.
