Have to say i'm slightly disappointed with the k800i.

Yes the new camera and it's abilities are fantastic and are above my expectations, but two things annoy me:

a) battery life - the first thing i did was to turn off the 3g to save battery and depsite not using it that much am already down to 50% from a full charge last night.

b) reception - the big letdown. I have two vodafone contracts and the one in the k800i has spent a lot of time saying "emergency calls only" even though the k750i sitting next to it has three bars of signal.

Note that k800i got low SAR rate which is 0.58. While k750i got ~1.10.

Dont complain about reception and battery life, i had the z1010 before my k800i. Batterylife is more than double, and the reception is much better now.

Weird, mines exactly the opposite. Went to visit friends over the weekend where I could hardly get a signal on my K750, and yet the K800 had 4 bars and even 3G coverage!

just a quickie, are there any glaring problems with the firmware that ships with the K800i? Or does it suffice?

I have had no major issues with my k800i, and even the niggles I can put up with! Best phone I have bought since the P900!
