Not heard of any Arc design devices from Sony. Sounds like bullshit.

IPS has already been confirmed for 2014. All Sony phones in 2014, will use IPS technology. As for cameras, the software is maturing nicely there is a pack that will hopefully roll out with 4.4 for the Z1 that will further enhance image quality.

But yeah, not heard a single thing about going back to the Arc design. Omnibalance with smaller bezels is the 2014 design with edging like the Z1 compact.

Well, E1 didn't have IPS. But I hope the L successor would have one.

a normal battery usage by the sirius... from iRimas
Seems GOOD

in other news:
My 5 years old iPhone 3GS died... i loved it so much, I bought it on day one here in Italya, it had 32 GB of space and I'm still convinced that at that time it was the most awesome phone you could have
It served me honorably till now. It always worked even if lately it was a bit sloppy

REST IN PEACE my beloved 3GS... You'll always have a place in my nerdy heart

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I bought a Moto G in the meantime... the most affordable yet full of quality phone at the moment, and my first Android Phone I choose to go with the affordable one beacause I'm obviously waiting for Sirius, Z2 or whatsoever the first phone that will amaze me as the 3GS did at its time... I'm waiting for the Moto g to arrive in a few days, I'm really curious to play with android.... (BTW is there anyone with the Moto G? could you PM me with some impressions?)

looks like white balance is a lot better. It looks the cybershot team really just trying to get the hardware out there asap and slowly improve the software post release. Because anything that comes down to software can be improve over time but hardware is set in stone.

hardware could have issue as well. otherwise, the same improvement can happen with Z1, but they haven't done it. unless it's for some other business reasons

BTW, the original Sirius rumour mentioned 32GB onboard, but the prototype has 16GB...

Isn't because of being a prototype ? or Sirius will have 32GB ?

I'll be very disappointed if it has 16GB... It's not about ( it has a microSD ) but it's about Android 4.1+ doesn't allow move to microSD for apps.. and some manufacturers decided to enable this feature because of low internal memory... in any way.. most apps still doesn't cache in the external microSD and still use the internal for this purpose like Google Music ( will cache the offline music in the internal ).. and all these rumour about offline support for Youtube also...

Basically, Android is moving toward limiting the use of external storage... and high-end phones needs to have larger internal storage to separate them from the rest...

I'm not saying most peoples want 32GB, but there's a large base that prefer 32GB over 16GB. and sony should address this matter...

^Samsung will manage to do that first I think. I mean, with their bloatware only increasing, they'll make a 64gb ROM and leave 16gb user accessible...
