From what I understand, Bella was the P5i that PK had, and Paris is the *new* P5i with the updated hardware (OMAP 3, etc.).

SE won't incorporate 3,5mm jack, because they have their own standard.
You can use the adaptor
3,5mm jack is too bulky too implement it on the hardware. It needs too much space inside of the devices
There will be only one connector for all purposes, so you have to put up with this.
