the phone doesn't lag quite often, especially after fresh reset, it's just speedy, but the longer u use and the more intensed it is, then u'd need a fresh reset
i have encountered some glitches like unable to answer the phone using the touch screen other than the jog dials and such after quite a few days of intensive usage. but a reboot is more than enough

does anyone know where i can get an SE w960i in sydney australia or know where/when they will be available - ideally on contract. i want one, want one, want one! but cant find one anywhere. the ones on ebay are from japan/china which im not too keen on and they are pretty pricey.

i have a serious problem with W960i.
i want to buy the phone, i tried it at a dealer store and found out that the hand writing recognition is extremely slow. it is so slow that it is almost usless. i am currently using an i mate and i previously owned a P800. both these phones' performance regarding the spead with which the phone recognises the letter is excellent. the w960 is a turtle in comparison
hand writing recognition is a vital thing for me.
does anyone now of a solution for that?

Yes, in 'Contacts' click:
'More/Settings/Sort by/
then select your preferred view format.

the handwriting recognition is a downside compared to others such as P990 or P1i IMO, but i use it very seldom since it's flushed and i enjoy touching it rather
