sorry, got a headache going through 50 pages of this post.
a few questions before i purchase - might go the w800i, as price differential is almost the same as price differential in memory stick upgrade
. same power supply as my older SE phones (t610) - i dont think so, right?
. same battery - not?
. can i get SMS texts off the phone and onto my PC?
. my other option is an O2 xphone 2m smartphone for slightly cheaper - b/c the idea of being able to (somewhat) seamlessly go between my PC outlook and my phone sounds tempting, even though i'm not a heavy outlook user. how good is pc suite syncing??
. camera - not a big deal, but i just lost my canon ixus 40 and dont want to pony up the cash for that and a phone - will buy this phone for the quick everyday shots and save up for a nice digital SLR - yay

gowdy:
-power supply is different. K750, w800 & the other new models make use of the new "fast port" (two-prongs vs the previous 3-prongs) connection.
-k750 & w800 use the same kind of batteries (not same as K700 or other older models, not sure about the newer walkman phones though. you could do a search)
-you can backup/receive/send sms on your computer using available programs on the net. i kinda prefer the FMA program.
-sync-ing is a breeze. you can sync most any content in your phone using several options (pc suite, fma, SE file manager, myphoneexplorer, etc). You can use the programs mentioned to sync just Outlook content as well.
-go for the SLR and forget about getting a digicam! the K750 is a full-fledged 2MP digicam itself! you can even manually configure speed settings (focus and aperture are the only auto features left which you can't do manually).
-bonus: get additional/higher (2gb?) mem sticks & you wont need a separate mobile music player (unless you go for carrying 20-40gb of music everywhere), the K750 has a great sounding media player! You might want to consider the w800 though since the earbuds are better & it comes with the HPM-70 connector w/c lets you connect your favourite headphones (or your hifi using the usual discman jack). You can always change the casing when you tire of it.

You can change the videos using a multimedia converter pro to 3gp or just nero recode to mp4

Hi folks,
I have recently updated my K750 to R1N035, but the quality of pictures taken in a darker environment hasn't improved yet. I still get lots of horizontal lines on my photos!
Do more people have this problem?
