@da wanqsta: Nice pics of home, especially the one taken on the approach to Kommetjie- can't remember the name of the road.

@kryptik: Those pictures are spectacular and also quite scary...my former neighbourhood(Sea Point) was also battered by storms these last couple of weeks and the pics that people sent me were crazy.

Life in the Philippines is very boring, I'm at an internet cafe...cable tv went out this afternoon and I couldn't be bothered about calling the cable guy because it would be a waste of airtime. Next time you complain about the "piss poor" service in SA, think about folk in places like Manila who have it much worse.

@ tranced:
That's my biker-teddy! LOL, nice pics, mate.

@ Falcon:
Yeah I noticed a few cars without number plates while driving around Gauteng; I was asking myself the same question about what the cops do about it. Is it a case that there's a greater chance of getting a speeding fine worth far more money than a lesser (?) chance of being pulled over and being fined less for not having a number plate on the back?

@ da brixsta:
So good to see you in these parts again, mfowethu. Glad you're OK. Yeah I still have a good few holiday pics to upload, including places like False Bay, Camps Bay, etc etc. A few P1i pics each day helps to keep the thread ticking over.

@ Ems:
Had a chance to update the firmware yet?

@ Gucci:
Yoohooo...where are you? LOL, hope you're not too 'tender' today, boet.

Hey everyone, Wow what a nite. Had our MD at Moyo Zoo Lake. Went very well, had a blast, left the MD at mid-night and drove to the after party in Outer Limits in Broadacres. And from there things went a little sour when an hour and a half after getting there we are told they are closing thanx to miscommunication between the person who organised and the club owner. So we went club hopping between Tanzanite, Vacca Matta, Tokyo Sky, and Ruby Blue which was closed. We did all that between 1:30am -3am then went to a friend's house had the after after party til 4:30am and then went to a 24hour Pizza place i thnk its called Adomino or something like that lol ate there then went to a friends to sleep over, got to bed at like 5:30am had to wake up this morning at 8am to go to Matric Breakfast at Capuccino in North Gate, and slept the rest of the day, just got home 20mins ago, don't know how on earth we'll be able to stay awake in class tomorrow. Lol all the times ive mentiond are very rough estimates, we did some crazy things on the road whilest club hopping. Our friend's dad borrowd us his new Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 for the weekend, and lets just say we left a lot of those cocky GTI and S3 drivers in our dust
Anyway was sweet, now cant wait till Matric Vac . . . . .just 3 more months to go!

P1i pics:

Part of Melkbosstrand. In the distance is the Koeberg nuclear power station; surely there a few other nuclear power stations with such scenic environment? LOL:

Well, I went to SEUS today and was met with the message that I have the latest software but I went ahead and updated anyway. It appears I do indeed have the latest firmware cause it still is the same as before after the update- R9K9009. The green is still there as well.

Eish boet; I'm at a loss then as to how the green n' magenta tint is hardly an issue on my P1i as it used to be on the original firmware; either it's the camera module or firmware...or maybe I need to make another appointment at Specsavers, LOL.

Eish, Wanqs, I don't know what to do anymore. I love my Nikon D200 but I thought maybe this phone could be a substitute. Anyway, I'll try and research some more as to what one can do cause a number of people are saying the green tint is gone. Also, this phone is an 08W28 which means it is newer so it shouldn't give me a problem in that area. I guess it's just bad luck.
