Well i had a K610 (for 2 weeks only) !! i sold it out and bought W810i cause of the coverage of 3G at my place there i live ...
I missed the K610i, so i sold the W810i and bought again the K610 ..
I am not sure about moving SMS messages to MS, but there is enough space to save alot of SMS in the phone memory and the SIM card as well .
These question can you ask the Sony Ericsson Support desk ..
I recommend you a K610, you will never regret it .. K750 is nothing better .. besides its only GSM while K610 is a 3G phone !!
By the way .. the voice and sound quality in Kk610 speaker is great compare to K750/W800/W810 !!

I currently have a k700i (on Orange PAYG) which is on it's last legs and I was *about* to order a k750i as a replacement .. however, having seen the much newer k610i, which is only £20 more, I'm in a bit of a quandry as which one to order!
Not bothered about FM Radio, and not that fussed about the lack of auto-focus as if I want to take pictures I want to keep, I'd use a proper camera!
How many SMS messages are you able to store on the k610i memory before it tells you it's full and have to delete them (and is it possible to move messages to the Memory Stick/Card?)
So ... k750i or k610i ?

@ nick_macca
Hi 2
What made me change to K610i was the following ..
1- Design of K610 is nicer and smoother
2- The display of K610 was clearer, nicer, better with clearer font
3- The software is much better in K610i and its very close to what K800i have !!!
4- Sound & Voice quality is much better in the speaker of K610i during calls, music or as a ring tone unlike the K750/W800/W810 which sounds bad especially in ring tone mode
5- The K610i is cheaper cause it doesnt follow any Headset and the MS is just 64 MB (M2 Micro) ... its 512 MB in W810 ..
6- K610i is a 3G phone !! higher speed internet + Video call ..
7- Menus are faster and more realble in K610i than W810i
So if you dont care about having RADIO, Auto Focus and Flash in your phone, you should choose K610i !! its even nicer and sexier than its bigger and more expensive brother K800i ...
Have fun

The font size in Opera mini is fine, I have now bought one on 3-UK.
I get 16 lines of text in medium, the font is wider than my old K608i but NOT taller.

I have just purchased a K610i. One thing I have noticed with it is that when I press a key, and the "tone" sounds, it is followed by a crackle sound. Actually it is more like a pop or "TICK" sound at the end of each Tone-Beep. Obviously this can be easily fixed by simply switching off keypad tones, or switching it to click, but if the speaker is faulty I may as well have it fixed...
so has anyone else experienced this?
P.S. I forgot to add that I am using the Vodafone Australia firmware. I'm no sure if this will make a difference. I will debrand it as soon as I can.

I think there's something wrong with your speaker. I haven't experienced any crackling sounds before.

Theres nothing wrong with your speaker mate, i'd just turned on the keytones on my phone to test, and there is a strange crunching sound for sure

I went into the Vodafone store and they opened up a new K610i for me to test. It makes the exact same noise at the end of each button push (with tones enabled). This is really a non-issue, it is not audible unless your in a quiet room by yourself, and I just turned off the tones
fantastic phone...
Now to just figure out how to flash it with the non-vodafone firmware!

But be aware that you cannot use any Voda-service afterwards like Live-TV, video and music downloads etc (if you want to use them). Furthermore it is very likely that the SEUS update and OTA update won't work, too.
