Every1 here is so frustrated with BSNL gprs.... Guys that is why BSNL is so called waste Service provider of india.
I bought 2 New bsnl prepaid sim cards in this week, just for checking this trick, can imagine how much frustrated I am.
And coming to my dude freworld... guys be cool... freworld is a member of Esato, no family member will ever break his family and go... freworld has just arrived from a long tour (he was out of station all these days). So give him some time... he is a very nice person, he will surely share things with us and definately help us...
Lets not forget it is freworld who started this thread, because he loves to share things (Naughty guys, Not everything

-DO U KNOW, hunderds f peple can sue bsnl in court just for this much reason, 4 introducing a series on which gprs cant be activated !! !!

THAT keyword existed some years ago and i had seen written on some years old thread on some other site!!!!
READ THE ACTIVATION PART CAREFULLY IN MY STARTING POSTS AND FOLLOW EACH STEP & THEN POST ANY PROBLEMS PLZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!

firstly I bought 1 New Sim of 94418 series, When I had sent sms "ACTGPRS" "ACTPORTAL" (here, ACTGPRS is for activating GPRS in prepaid, ACTPORTAL is for activating GPRS in postpaid. This service is for only AP & TK customer) ( I also tried sending GPRS to 3733 and also PORTAL to 3733) sending all these sms to 3733 was charged evertime.
Then immediately I got the following sms
"Invalid option.Postpaid Cust:AMT-Current Usage Amt,BILL-Last month invoice details,ONEINDIA-For converting to ONEINDIA plan. Service only for postpaid TN,CH,KL. "
I called CC to enquire, they asked my number, name and place from where am calling, I answered, then when I asked what is the procedure to activate PORTAL or GPRS or MMS, they immd replied sorry sir, this service is not available for 9441 series. I was shocked.
I called several times to check whether any other CC will give a solution to my problem, but everytime same immediately response and same reply from all CCE's. Then I went down to GSNL office and met JTO (GPRS incharge), He said for this series the billing systems is not yet started so currently not possible to activate gprs services on this series, it will take 1-2 months. and he gave me the contact number of Head of GPRS Activation Dept (IT) so that I can talk to them directly. I called him, he said the same stories. He suggested me to buy a 9440 series.
Then I have no other option to buy a New Sim with 9440 series, so I searched hard and finally got one. Then I had sent a request "ACTGPRS" and "ACTPORTAL" 2 3733 (ACTGPRS is for activating GPRS in prepaid, ACTPORTAL is for activating GPRS in postpaid. This service is for only AP & TK customer)( I also tried sending GPRS to 3733 and also PORTAL to 3733 gives invalid option error) I was surprised to see this time sms to 3733 was not charged.
ACTPORTAL 2 3733 - I got the reply "Your Request for PORTAL Received,please wait for confirmation SMS - Gellone"
ACTGPRS 2 3733 - I got the reply "Your Request for GPRS Received, Activation will be done in 24 Hrs - Gellone"
I waited for 24hrs, then I called CC and asked the status? Then replied I dont have sufficient balance for activating GPRS. Then I asked them to atleast activate Gellone portal, they said " Gellone portal, wap all these services requires GPRS" so no gprs, no Gellone portal. Some CCE even said Gellone portal is only for postpaid customers.
Then I called to Head of GPRS Activation Dept (IT) on his mobile, he asked my number, (he also asked me did i sent a sms request for activation of gprs) then he checked, he replied sir, you dont have sufficient minimum balance for activation of GPRS. Minimum balance you need to maintain is Rs 250 (before it was Rs500/-). I said please activate Portal atleast, he said not possible, first u need to activate gprs for this. He said first u recharge and have ur balance more than 250 then call me in the mornings, I will activate GPRS in 2 hr. I requested him a lot, but in vain.
Then I was so disappointed. I was so angry on Gsnl, I had sent more than 100 sms that day (ACTGPRS, ACTPORTAL, GPRS, PORTAL, GPRSE, ACTIVE GPRS), everyday am sending these sms to them, thinking that 1 day they will activate my gprs by chance.
