@dupet, Agreed on animosity point you made. Except for the camera quality. I have tons of pics from K850i that can prove you otherwise
Than my standpoint is proven but you will not be satisfied cause you favor N82. Ergo I stand right in my statement.
I am not surprised or anything, just this specific thread made me react. Don't mind me. I like plank and everybody very much...

i didnt start out favouring the N82. Ive been using Sony Ericsson phones since 2001, so ive always had a strong preference for them. but my experiences with the k850 has changed that.

are your clothes lines white-ish like in the first pic, or purple like in the second?

With such small size pics, you can't differentiate anything except for maybe color variation. Please post the full 5MP images for comparison.

Yes i know...the purple fringing...exept that the K850i is very good in daylight.

There is another problem with N82, there's a blurry place on the left of the pictures on most N82.

2 others shots in fully auto mode on both phone.

N82

thanks for posting those pictures Davidsic. Did you turn off the image stabilizer on the K850? i cant remember if its on by detault, but it can take away some of the detail.

since you were there, which do you think has more accurate colours? the second photo looks a little purplish to me. specially on the roofs of the houses.

In n82 full size you cant see the writing on the white antenna and the green grass in front the gate is blurry.
In this test wich is k850 fw?

Do you know if there's any modded cam driver for n82?
I must admit that I'm not overly satisfied with the pic quality of n82.
And why does nokia use such an agressive compression algorithm?
Some of my k790i shots have larger filesize than n82 :S
