When did anyone from SE say that they'd release it on a certain date?

The certain date should've been (provided they WERE competent) the day that they FIRST released the phone because they ALL reboot and because they ALL consume energy like crazy! They've certainly been aware of the above since the VERY beginning...they just are not intelligent enough to resolve these problems...but then again, they weren't intelligent enough to resolve the K850 problems over an eight month span...and it took them a VERY long time to resolve the "dead" K800 issues by issuing a new EROM after thousands of the K800 owners were forced to send their units to SE service centers to have them revived!

The new firmware is avaible on 02 & orange branded phones, and it does fix the reboot, battery issues, no bugs on the new firmware so se fixed it pretty quickly it shouldn't have been buggy in the first place but atleast it's fixed now.

To me no significant progress over the previous firmware. As I have now switched back to R3BA035 with the support of Chinese language, I cannot test it again for you.

After the half-day trial, I just found the new fw smoother and faster in terms of operation and bootup time seems to have been reduced.
Cheers, RL
