the screen needs some tuning, the contrast is far off of where it needs to be, if it appears this washed out indoors. i dont think it only has 16K color though, the transparency effects let alone the MMedia aspects of the phone would be moot. i cant understand why no compass though? lets hope for some tweaking before its supposed to come out. SE has met their target the last few phones as far as release, so i see no reason to think it will be delayed. id get one, that compass though seems like it should be integrated to the QSD8250. oled would have taken care of the contrast, colors, and battery. (+3), killed outdoor contrast (-1): +2oled

It's a good phone and I'm glad a 3.5mm Jack is there which is a simple thing that Se usually get wrong. It has exchange activesync without having android 2.0. But I'd rather go for the hd2 which is released tomorrow even though it's win mob. Mainly for the multi touch, fm radio and compass and the fact that it's released tomorrow not in 3-4 months time.
Bit early, but anyone know if this phone has automatic word correction? It's a life saver on a touchscreen keyboard! Or any keyboard to be honest!

Well for once I have to agree on what sealover94 says, no radio? That's wierd!

Une fois pour toute!!!! 16536 colors doesn't mean nothing. The number of colors a screen has is determinated by color depth:
8bits? 256colors
16bits? 65536 colors
18bits? 262k
24bits? 16M
if a 14bits screen existed the correct number would have been 16384colors not 16536 as indicated.
Sony Ericsson has one of the
worst website among phone constructors regarding the specs of their phones (just look how clear are the specs on Motorola website and on HTC one and you will understand what I mean). It's
impossible to find a reliable information.
