Not any surprise, usually happen at a time.
If even Samsung don't manufacturer these chip, they're first one to get offer from Qualcomm anyway.

According to a report straight from Japan, Sony could be one of the companies that will announce a complete line of new smartphones at MWC 2017. Reportedly, a total of five new smartphones will be announced at the trade show, among which is the new flagship phone as well.
The flagship smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm 835, but considering Samsung has hoarded Snapdragon 835 orders, the phone will probably launch somewhere in May or June. The phone will also pack Sony's new IMX400 camera sensor, which should deliver a noticeable improvement in image quality.

^ Those specs are the same as what Nodar posted a few days ago so I'd take them with massive pinch of salt I'm afraid.
EDIT
If you keep checking back from the source link it actually mentions Nodar's blog/webpost about the said devices.

Well Nodar had some good predictions for the last IFA.
If Yoshino end up with S835 and 6GB RAM - I'm buying it. If not, I'll wait for IFA.

Could Yoshino still be announced at MWC and have a postponed release (around June maybe)?

There is now a Japanese leak that confirms Nodar's post;

It appears we should start giving Nodar more credit.
