Could you tell us in some way what the photographic set-up will be? Will the "T" sensor be extended to all cameras? Will all sensors have a variable focal length and/or adjustable aperture? Thank you very much

AI partnership with Google (Gemini) or Open AI (Chat GPT)?

AI (LLM) running locally on phone hardware will need extremely good hardware and at least 20 GB RAM memory:

Sony foldable phone in 2025?

AI in several areas, especially camera Auto mode they said will not sucks anymore

Technically every mfg can put 24GB RAM in their phone if they truly want so, however cost reason and strategy dont allow it And Sony never price itself lower than Samsung

They can make foldable, but it will be dead right after release

what that weibo removed post about 3 means?

Since the backplate was an image of a sunset ie lowlight environment, I wanna guess it means ExmorT on all three cameras?

" In March, let's discover three secrets. 3 is more than just a number; it is the prelude to the growth of everything, a ladder of technological evolution, and a unique expression of the aesthetics of life.".

Event is May, does not make any sense.

Let me rephrase the word choice here because i got some flaks about it
Sony is focusing more on AI and "mainstream" consumer segment.
About the drop of 4K&21:9, they said its for costs reason, as the old ones are custom-ordered only for Sony. By reducing the display size, they can use common off the self panels (like the Chinese), therefore cheaper, have better specs.

Hoping the display don't give any problems within the first 3 years and above .

I can confirm that there will be no 4K and 21:9 aspect ratio every products in the first half of 2024. Atleast there is no punch hole Xperia 5 lineage is gone.
They are focusing more on AI and "midrange" consumer type. If you want flagship best of industry specs then run away while you can because its gonna hurts a lot

I wonder if this is to lineup with a previous report of going with a UDC next year. It would be easier from my understanding for an under display camera to work on a lower resolution screen than a higher resolution one.

nobody has used UDC behind QHD. Even with 1080p, quality is still VGA. Sony UDC patent is from 2012, would have been used if they had interest in it.

First thing first, i am not bringing any news or hint about anything.
This is completely out of curiosity
In front of you, 3 panels for future Xperia

A: 21:9 4K + 1000nits peak + 60/120fps
or
B: not 21:9 + not 4K + 2000 nits peak + 1-120fps
or
C: not 21:9 + not 4K + same 1000nits peak + 1-120fps

also, a much higher PWM frequency, maybe?(at least much higher than 480Hz)
