There is such a thing as a marking or paint pellet round, which is made of small frangible paint pellets ala magsafe's design, which LEO's in the states use for training. It is only LEO, I know that it is available in the pistol calibers, although I'm not sure if its available in .308 for the FN-FAL, maybe that's what they used in the movie(haven't seen it,btw).

Regarding our electoral system, I know what you mean, maybe we should emulate the electoral college system used in the U.S. which prevents mobocracy which plagues us here.

Got it.Nice. What kind of sights do you have on your Glock? Millet? Don't care much for the stock plastic sights on the 30, but the new stock adjustable sights are better than what they used to have which was flimsy. I want to change the plastic front site with a metal one.

thats a LPA from Italy. had it installed (front blade and adjustable rear) by ReliableArms in ali-mall. simple job lang naman yan, but i dont have tools to do it properly.

next small project is to have adjustable sights for the USP too. with both of these.... i cant find anything else to correct, unless i have to be nit-picky. the trigger jobs for both are not so good, but being too spoiled by gunsmiths is not my kind of concept with handling guns.

hey.... saw your Pbase! that 44-Ruger and FN-C are great! lucky! i have questions and comments...but i'll send it via e-mail or pM. thanks!

Same here, I like my guns stock. Gunsmithing usually leads to a "tekateka" gun if you luck out on your gunsmith.
That was an FN-CAL, the pre-cursor of the FNC, which were,as I'm sure you know, 5.56mm versions of the 7.62 or .308 FN-FAL. The CAL didn't do as well because it was expensive to produce and was harder to disassemble as compared to the FNC. I'll just await your email. Cheers

Sorry for the long time between posts.

Just to answer a few questions regarding the AUstyr rifle i have.

These are not legal for civilian use in australia (bloody semi-auto pistols are gonna be on the scrap heap soon )
The calibre is 5.56, the rifel is great as it is made of plastic only weighs only 4.2 KGs when fully loaded.

For leftys, the platoon smithy will change the eject port direction (there is a port on both sides, one is plugged) and the round release pole is on the right side of the locking lug (im not sure of the names, cant be buggered remembering since recruit training).

The bullpup design is great, even though it is shorter overall than comparable rifles such as the M4, the barrel length is still full length, the trigger mech is just located in the back of the stock, and can be pulled out from under rubber stopper as a whole peice for easy cleaning.

Because it is short, it is great for convoys, and they even have a more stripped down version with bugger all barrel, but accuracy is dodgy.

Cya later. Questions welcome.

I was thinking of the same thing. Gun ownership will again be under attack because of the stupidity of some people. I hope people realize that its not the gun but the person behind it. Its people like this that give us gun owners a bad rep.

Great rifle, BTW what was that about semi-auto pistols going to the scrap heap? Are pistols about to be banned in the land down under?
