Just voted.. I'm a bit disappointed though.. I was expecting like 50 themes in each category! Plus I don't like any of the ringtones...

Yeah me too, not alot to choose from, and the standard of some themes was really poor.

Look at the free themes download section here!! There are certainly some better themes than the ones of the competition(at least category 3)

The Category 1 themes were quite good on the whole and one or two really stood out, even the Category 3 themes weren't too bad, but the ringtones were awful. I do apologise to those Esatonians who took time to create them, but to be frank they were not pleasing to the ear. To be fair, most people probably have more experience with themes than ringtones, so one can't be too harsh.

I would just like to say, that I think it is really poor behaviour to slag the submissions. If you thought they were so bad you should've submitted something better and you might have won. If you could not do that, now isn't the time to criticize those who tried.

@Vlamm
I am not criticising the hard work and effort that people put into the various themes or ringtones at all. I thought all the themes were actually rather good, some better than others obviously, but still I found it difficult to choose between them when voting.
I still stand by my comments regarding the ringtones; I don't think they were that good. I see no point in praising them just for the sake of appearing nice, I am quite sure that the people who created them would rather an honest opinion than patronising pleasantries. As I said in my last post, I would imagine that most people do not have much experience in creating ringtones, therefore constructive criticism serves a valuable purpose. I think you will agree that I have not made any derogatory comments about any of the themes or ringtones; I have merely given an honest opinion. If I had wanted to I could have been rather insulting towards the ringtones, but I have absolutely no wish to do so, considering that people have put time and effort into them. Instead of being insulting I have given an honest opinion of those ringtones.
I do apologise if I have offended anyone, but as I have already stated, I believe in giving an honest opinion. If someone has created something that isn't that great and they want to improve, then simply being nice for the sake of being nice won't do an ounce of good.

My point is that some people invested time and effort in this competition, while MOST people have not. Even he none of the submissions will ever who a Nobel Prize, it would be a matter of common courtesy to respect the few people who did take time out for this competition.
Saying all entries are no good does not exactly help the spirit of 'fun competition' and will certainly make me think twice about ever participating in one again, if all people are going to do is tell how badly we all did. :-(
