You seem to be insinuating that the P900 was not worth buying, presumably you are referring to those who already had a P800 and upgraded to the P900, since those without a P800 could hardly be expected to wait until SE released the P910.
Well yeah, Most people are complaining that its not worth buying the P910 when they have a P900. But there are MORE changes from the P900-->P910 then there was from the P800-->P900. Which means you are better off upgrading from a P900-->P910 then from a P800-->P900.
While a lot of people did make that change from the P8 to P9 and now they complain that the P910 is not worth the change?!?!? well it is, cause its a great phone with PRO support.
However myself I wanted Pro Duo support, so why would I upgrade? but the design almost made me change, but I waited and thought it is not worth it. There were many post about should I wait..., people saying no, buy the P900 and now they all want to trade there P9's for a P910?!?!?!
But yeah, what can you do on a P900 that you cant do on a P800????????
NOTHING!
What can you do on a P910 that you cant to on the P800 and the P900??????
PRO SUPPORT
KEYBOARD
MUCH MUCH MORE Memory(I know the P9 had more then the P8 but it was not much of a difference)
And yeah I am happy that I waited cause I beleive that a P900 is not a upgrade from a P800 and I saved some money and I can get the P910.

what is the "tweak" in the OS. from what i can gather both P900 and P910 use symbian V 7 and a user interface UIQ 2.1. so the only difference in software is just cosmetic?

Im a bit sceptical, it looks like any improvements are only minor ones, a better screen, bigger memory, all which are the least we should expect, and the qwerty keyboard looks cool but doesnt look practical to me. But i will probably upgrade if i can get it reasonably cheap!

just to support what P800_Zen_master is saying, P800 owners (including myself) have had to endure plenty of ridicule from those here that have felt the need to upgrade to the P900, and who now assume the P800 to be some kind of absurd antique. In reality, the P800 and P900 are virtually the same device - with a few cosmetic changes only - and it's the P910 which has really, finally, addressed at least some of the real limitations of the original P series hardware design - most notably by adopting PRO support. That alone really makes it a much more powerfull device - especially in combination with the serious improvement in internal memory - and a worthy upgrade to either older phone.
The keyboard - again, another significant upgrade to both the P8 & P9 - is just the icing on the cake.

Why doesn't the P910 have some kind of stand? I'm having a difficult time figuring out how one can type. If the unit has to lay flat on it's back it will be dificult to read the screen at certain angles plus the keyboard will also be at a weird angle. How about some kind of plastic stand that is fastened around the side and all one has to do is to retract it at an angle to prop up the phone? Kinda keeping it at the same angle that the phone is in when set on the cradle. I'd love to see how SE intends users to use the keyboard. Certainly looks impossible to type while dangling with no support.

Have you seen Eldars video of him typing on the Qwerty-keyboard!(Mobile-Review)
If not, here's the link;
http://www.mobile-review.com/review/image/sonyeric/p910/p910.avi
(It's 7.4MB, so beware if there's any 56k users still out there)
I'm not sure if his sigh at the end of the video is in utter exhaustion of the typing, or it's just him getting up of the chair to stop the camera.

Looks like he was wrestling with it

. It kinda seems he was more concentrating on keeping the unit propped in the right position then he was in typing. I tried simulating the typing process on my P900 by tapping my thumbs on the inside of the flip. However, as soon as I was done with a word my fingers naturally lifted off the flip. As soon as I did that the phone would rock backwards and I'd have to quickly place a thumb on the inside of the flip to keep it up. Try simulating the process yourselves. It is awkward as you always have to keep a thumb on the flip at all times in order to prevent the phone from flipping back and off your hands. I figure the weight of the flip isn't going to be much different. Besides the flip does not hold the phone steady at that angle. I can tell in the video that he is using his left index finger and left thumb to keep the unit from slipping off. If I did this for a bit I'm pretty sure I'd be sighing as well.

He's for sure steading it with his left indexfinger, but he hasn't got any problems in hitting the right keys on the keyboard with his thumbs and he can write quite fast. You can also hear the buttons give good feedback when writing, so I think it's probably gonna go down well with new P9xx users(ME??). Maybe a few old users are gonna find it useful to?
