can anyone confirm these two things?:
1. can it use mp3-songs as ringsignals?
2. is the weight 128 or 110 grams?

and one more thing,
the swedish site www.mobil.se wrote thieir impressions of the V800 yesterday. it was pretty brief but if you subscribe to the magazine you could get some more info. now, dos anybody here subscribe to mobil? if so, could you please post that info? that would be very nice

02; You can only use Vodafone. It will be sim-locked to Vodafone.
(but if (when) the phone will be hacked, You'll be able to use other operators after removing sim-lock.

MP3:s can be used as ringtones, but I'm not sure if it will be only DRM-signed ones by Vodafone, by anyone, or even without DRM.

It will allow only DRM-protected MP3's as ringtones. But DRM-protection does not necessarily have to come from VF...

OK, thanks for the answer. Sons of b*tches!!! Whoever did it... Anyway, I suppose the MP3 player supports usual MP3s? THAT might decide wheter I buy it or not. Has'nt anyone found a way to work around the DRM-problem with the K700 yet? That would be nice, 'cause maybe it could be applied to the V800 as well

Yes, I saw this on Tweakers (Dutch Forum)

I found out that you can play a MP3 if you attach DRM (Digital Rights Management) to them. The DRM is what vodafone used to allow there usage of realtones of there site. So i found out that you can use Drmpackager from http://developer.sonyericsson.com/ to give your Mp3's digital rights. Use the standard settings and load a MP3, press the Create DRM content and there you have it. Upload the file created which ends in .Dm, instead of the MP3 you were going to use as ring tone and you will see that it has the same quality as the original MP3 and you can select it as a ring tone. Cool eh?

Very good!!! I hope it is applicable on the V800 as well
And, does the usual MP3 player support normal MP3s?
