"yes the networks could put a disclaimer on there but who would be the first person to complain when it did go worng. Us!"

wrong, nobody, because everybody has had to read, and agree to the clearly marked and easy to read disclaimer first which would be on every page.

I dont believe all networks have blocked it at all, according to Orange they have not blocked it but theres a problem with SE website or something hehe.

By the time SEUS is working without corruption and the major networks allow people to use the service it will be more than likely time to upgrade contract phones anyway.

unfortunately with SonyE its good phone concept & design with shoddy firmware and a shoddy (yet could be quite good) update service.

Think phones will eventually go to OTA update so you can update it direct from the network as per

I'm giving this thread a quick bump so that you all know that O2 customers are still suffering without access to the online update

woo hoo at last! just updated the firmare on my O2 branded phone using the SEUS with no problems at all!

all phone nos, pics, vid etc remained, shortcuts needed reset up though and the backlight seems brighter making it harder to see the white txt in some of the menus when using the O2 theme, the benefits of the new firmware far out way these few hitches tho

ooops! itchy fingers! sorry about that. just done the update to my o2 k700, however...now i cannot access any pictures other than the ones i have taken. can't move ANY pictures. it has no start up screen anymore (although it is in the picture folder)the phone re-boots when i attempt any of the above. i have tried to do further updates, both normal and recovery but to no avail. is the firmware within the pc client? if so how can i reload it (i cannot seem to find it! by using the site) anyone got any ideas? any help appreciated.
