Hey Seeby,

Got one question but many parts for you.

Went to the Da Vinci site and got the latest client: 13.2.

My z800's info:

R1AB013
prgCXC1250046_EU_1_V

Customizations
CDA102286/8 R2A
CXC 1250055R1AB0131E0W
Europe_5
Content version
PA19

You said that I should use CDA: 102371/13 so that I can use the SEUS again and retain my unbranded z800.

When I open and check the CDA info in the Da Vinci client I see the following:

CDA Number:
CDA Revision:
Model: k700
Lang Var Nam

What info do I fill in for the above?

Use exactly these settings:
CDA102337/12
R4A
K750i
EUROPE_4

Note the added "i" after K750

Also note that you need to flash your phone with EU_4 firmware. The latest R1L002 isn't avalable for EU_4, so you will have to flash with R1J002 instead.

Any news on LAM_2 or EU_1 R1L? I'm on R1J LAM_2 customization thanks to your software. I will be flashing my phone yet again with R1L to change the CDA as I wasn't aware of it's funtion when I first flashed it. Please let us know when these particular customizations become available, as I'm sure I'm not the only person looking to have portuguese on my phone

Just wanted to say thanks to sebby.dont think i would have flashed it without his help. I now have an unbranded silver k750! (no more of the vodafone crap and the menu looks a lot better now!!!) Hopefully the davinci team will soon find a way to make the fone simfree.The i will be very chuffed indeed. Good luck to those who are debranding.

Sebby, thank you so much mate! I followed excatly what you've been saying and I've just flashed my K750i Cheers!!!

Just one question though I just thought I'd try the SE Update Service now that I have put R1J002 EU2 on my phone with CDA102338/38 and R6A and now it says I could update the firmware lol. Before it said there wasn't anything for my provider. If I let it update my phone what do you think will happen, I'd rather not try and then find out...

If you let it update your phone, I would think it will flash exactly the same firmware as is currently on your phone. For some reason, the K750i Update Service can't tell when a phone is up-to-date already. I've tried with my own handset that I have unbranded and it downloads the correct unbranded firmware and not the Orange-branded firmware that it would have done in the past.

Wait till I get to work tomorrow and tell all the staff members, there is at least another person that will want this done to theirs! And we work for Vodafone, you know somethings going wrong don't you? lol I've already exchanged my handset already the 2nd day it was out (also the 2nd day I had it ) because of major lockups! But all perfect now! Loving it :D:D
