Hi!

Piccie for Nanu!

My main issue now is making the memory card accept Japanese MP3's with Japanese titles. As soon as I transfer some to the memory card or the phones memory, errors are reported and the card or phone memory needs a reformat. So annoying.

getting there!

Excuse the dust !! Will remove the screen protector when my Martin Fields arrives !

and one more screen shot showing an email attachment Word document !

Hi!

Interesting !

# You can install most BB apps, though some may not support VGA resolutions (should be fine on HTC Kaiser, as it is QVGA)

# Currently not all WM devices are supported, only HTC Kaiser, HTC Raphael and HTC Niki. Xperia X1 support is coming down the pipe.

Wonder if the Touch HD is supported !

edit - Added this wallpaper,

Interested to see other wallpapers and screen shots used by esato members !

Here are my phones and accessories,

HTC Touch HD, BlackBerry Bold, Kenwood KH-C311 and a very nice lanyard

I think if I could choose my specifications for my phone I would choose the Touch HD for screen and ease of use with my finger ! Have the BlackBerry OS for ease of email, and then the iPhones language input so I can have English, Japanese and Chinese that are so easy to input and switch !

The sound through the Kenwood KH-C311 is excellent ! Received these today from Japan !!

Morning guys and experts,
Have my Orange BB Bold (yeah!) but don't see any BB maps pr any indication that it has GPS. Upgraded to V4.6.214 but nothing found. Sure looking through Crackberry etc, someone said Orange disabled this (wonderful people) but there was a way round it.
Anyone please? Think it was Nanu who posted this somewhere.
Thanks guys
Doug

@Burgaz,

sorry, don't know of any free ones ! Would like some for my Bold too!

@dougproctor,

I am sure you are searching CrackBerry and other sites but I found this at CrackBerry and thought I would post the link.

gps

A member called Branta posted this

Get your GPS location
1. In the device options, click Advanced Options.
2. Click GPS.
3. Press the Menu key.
4. Click Refresh GPS.
The longitude and latitude coordinates for your current location appear.

(In UK you should get something in the range 51N-54N 001E-004W depending where you are)

If this works the GPS receiver is enabled and can see enough satellites. If Orange has simply blocked data service to provide maps you should be able to work around this with third party apps like Google. Take a look at the GPS message board here on CB for more advice.

There are other posts about service books further down in the thread that seem to indicate success.

Sorry, if this is not helpful!
