guys, i think low trade in value doesn't bother us too much as i feel t68 is really a great phone, i wont trade in my t68 unless for something better than this phone which is still very diff to find on this current market even i dun consider N7650 better than T68 so keep ur phone guys as u're holding one of the best phone out there

True that we have the best phone and value on the market right now but I may say, all of us will eventually trade in our t68's sooner or later. I would like the value of the t68 to remain competetive so that it benefits us. Look at the 8210. The highest trade in value for the phone (that I know of) is still $200! Even 2 years after its release. I'm definitely hanging on to my t68 but I hope that when the time comes (p800?) we'll still get a good deal.

dun worry abt the screen discolouration.. i've been thru 3 t68s already....

all have some kind or other of "brownish" discolouration at the edge of the screen when its displaying black..

i suspect its something to do with the bright LED on the YES NO buttons..

another thing i noticed is the different kinds of "WHITE" screen when the screen is displaying a white background..

some fones have a yellowish white, some have the bright white... u can only notice this when u compare fone side by side...

thank god after my 3rd t68, mine is finally a REAL WHITE one... i like it...

finally, regarding the CREAKING buttons,

don't worry about those...

u can unscrew ur t68, re-sit the keypad, and screw it back again...
after a bit of trial and error the keypad will not creak anymore... mine used to creak DAMN LOT!! esp the NO button...

as for the side of the t68 jutting out and not fitting properly, i found after unscrewing the fone and re fitting the face onto the front, it fit perfectly after that! i osso dunno why...

poor quality control?

anyway, all those are minor problems.....

With regards to the ST Classic 100 GPRS problem:
yes it does occur... when my fone get switched to SINGTEL 1800 sometimes (due to poor reception) the GPRS goes off. this is coz 1800 band DUN HAVE GPRS!

for some reason i gotta off and on my fone again to get it to register...

either that or manually register to the ST-GSM network...

Hope this helps.

also, my joystick like not as stiff as before leh... can they do anything about it ah?

@mrbunglez
Opening your phone will invalidate your warranty. Let the service point people check it out for you.
