r3b gives better voice clarity (or is it just me!! hmmm!!) anyways, i called jeff (ericserve) and he said the latest firmware they haf on the server is still r2d.....guess

You can change it at any Sony Ericsson service center. Ericserve, Amcorp Mall is one of it. If I'm not mistaken, it cost about RM85.

what version firmware u have in ya phone now? auto on off on phone can cause by few things...
1. ya firmware not match with ya SIM card. so far i know Maxis 64Kb card is stable with R6a firmware.
either u change ya phone firmware or u have to change ya SIM chard.
