Unfortunately I have to post a
negative reference for jenbones...
He recently sold me a BT Dongle and as he had a relatively high feedback score on the esato list I thought I could deal in confidence, the deal was agreed quickly and I didn't go into too many details....this was clearly a mistake.
I received the dongle but it had no software or drivers and so I could not install it and I have been unable to obtain them from anywhere else so it is useless.
However this isn't the main reason for my negative feedback.....more importantly it is becasue of the way he acted afterwards!
I asked him if he had the disc and received what I felt was a rather rude reply simply reading "nah"!
When I asked why he didn't mention this before he told me "well you didn't ask!"
Fair enough I didn't ask but like I said I thought I was dealing with a "trusted trader" and that he would not do something so underhanded, I know I wouldn't deal in such a manner and neither would many other good traders.
Furthermore the dongle does not even pop up as new hardware when put into a USB port and so I don't even know if it would work WITH the drivers. Jenbones told me even though he has also never seen it working himself "I does work....you just can't use it"!
Highly amusing!!!!!
His whole attitude was "not my problem" and he was very unwilling to help and this is the reason for the negative feedback. I even offered the option of a partial refund still leaving him in profit after postage and I would return the item but again he was unwilling to help.
I am only glad that this was only a small amount of money but I now have ZERO confidence in this seller....I certainly wouldn't like to have had a problem with him over a £300 phone for example!! I will certainly never buy from him again
Sorry to make this so long but I just wanted to explain my reasons
So everyone be warned that if you deal with jenbones make sure you ask EVERY conceivable question:
Is it a phone?
Is it real?
Does it work?
Is there a battery?
Is the screen ok?
Do all the buttons work?
Does the mic work?
Do the speakers work?
Does the headset work?
