nice 1 badrat... i dont think ill get as lucky... there is simply too far between the times that many would gather within 10m in norway...
how many did u actually get to bluejack???? would really like to know...
Thnx in advance...
I lost count to be honest. It got so silly that in the end I decided to only bluejack phones that had unique names - then there were so many of those too I then decided just to jack phones that were named after their owners.
I musta got about forty or so if not more over the day. I don't keep a log myself and until I get my P900 I can't make use of sman either so I really couldn't say. It was lot, though.
I did quite well yesteday at Lakeside shopping centre too - lots and lots of people there with bt phones. Though the crowning glory (so far anyway, as far as I know) has to go to my mate who managed to detect 16 devices in one sweep at a footy match this weekend. I think his hit rate was about half that at the time though.

Crud - you guys are too good!
Sends photo of victim... /me tips hat to that...
I dont know - maybe i am living in the stingy part of sydney but every bluetooth device i run into is one of those 3 headsets and sending an addy doesn't work (i think the nec only has the handsfree/headset bluetooth profile).
Really sh*ts me - 3 people are the people who needs to get their butts kicked. yucky yucky phones indeed...
Anyone found a way to bug the 3 headsets???

I knew you were Aussie straight away after you said 'crud'.
I thought Sydney would have lots of BT devices around (especially defenseless T610's). Perth has plenty.

Re: Aussie - hahaha close enough
In my mind i am anyways!
You are right with the bluetooth thing - but somehow there are more 3 headsets out here - which means bluejacking is more of a painful experience because you suddenly get excited because you get heaps of hits when you run a search -but when you try to send, you realise that it is a 3g headset and you have to run off and find a REAL phone. Stupid NEC Pos!!!
Now I am going to head out to the country to fix up some stuff... Do they have bluetooth CDMA headsets? Hehehee that WOULD be funny...

Hey Guys,
A question, does a T610 make a noise for incoming data? ie, is it a good bluejacking victim?
I do loads of searches, but hardly any jacks. Nokia 6310is are always popular...

@Hurney
t610's aren't always defenceless... keep in mind that SE phones have the ability to go "invisible", an ability nokia phones dont have... an if some have its a select few models...

I didnt say they were defencless. I said they accept data (eg contacts) of course, if they are on discoverable. Thats obvious. All Nokia phones with BT have the hidden option except the 6310, and even that might I'm not sure.
T610's in my experience have BT on as default. It is on discoverable, and contacts can be sent no worries. Thus the comment!
