Can anyone of the VERY LUCKY guys with one K700i tell me if it´s possible to zoom a picture already in the phone? (I´m not talking about the digital zoom in the camera or about resizing! I´m talking about, when viewing a picture, zooming in to seem more details as Nokias 3650/3660/7650/6600 can do)

Does anyone know which codec to use with virtualdub to create videos I can play on my K700i? Or any other program.

And have anyone decrypted the xml-file in the .hid-file yet?

erm...if u dont mind the nokia brand...then use the nokia multimedia converter 2.0 converts to 3gp format. pretty good. i own a 6230 myself and i'm quite impressed by it's video playback capability, although the 128*128 screen is atrocious.

i got my k700 today in the morning.

damn im impressed.
its looks are amazing...
very nice screen.

but what satisfies me the most is the new features in the operating system.
first of all animated wallpapers.
second of all the animation on the menus.
third of all the detail of the icons.
fourth, the tabbed browsing.

SE has gone a long way, and makes the NOKIA 6230 look like garbage.

im tellin u, its one thing lookin at photos, and another when u use the phone in real life!!!

the phone is worth its money!!!

yup. i agree. 6230 is crap. i am regretting my purchasal of 6230. it sux. if not for it's mmc (i've converted my 6230 into an mp3 player w/ a 128mb) , the 6230 would be just an empty shell (or maybe worse than that). how i wish i've waited a while more for the k700 baby.

And the ipod vs mobile mp3 argument begins.................................. Again! Myself, i would probably listen to the mp3s about 1/2 hour a day which the k700 could hold, therefor i could get a way with carrying 1 item not too. Not to mention that if your carrying a phone and ipod around, your target no. 1 for theft. But that all depends on HOW much music you listen too This message was posted from a T610

Without deviating from the subject of the thread, people can only tell that you have an iPod from the white headphones, which aren't brilliant anyway. I've got Sony MDR-EX711SB's for my MP3 player and they're much better.

Getting back to the thread, my K700 should be arriving today, so I'll be able to answer any questions from anyone that's curious specifically about the UK version of the K700i, and whether it's branded on O2 etc.
