Hi Sanj: No fret ! So you are popular now at the store
THX cert Logitech

WoW Dude ! how much fresh investments for the whole thing ?
I think you laptop is decent and would do for your use.
And yeah the DvD deal would go sour for me, if its region locked. Am told Mitashi has something here for say under 150-180 Canadian D, can Play DivX DvD etc.

Think you will get a review sumwhere on Techtree.com. its a local Asian brand.
I have Sony, but it has been too xpensive compared to Korean brands

ok the sound card is bout $85 USD shipped to US address, the 2.1 speakers r bout $110 USD shipped. the 5.1 speakrs on the other hand is a whopping $285 USD shipped. also sneaking the 5.1 speakers into Can frm USA might not be easy as packaging is pretty big and wont be able to "hide" in a normal car. so looks like i'l have to settle for the 2.1 speakers for the time being. pls chk the links i have posted for more info bout the speakers, they r amazing trust me.
i kno ther r dvd players that can play divx too which i can get for $100 CDN or even less!!!! not sure if they r region unlocked.
my dvd player on the other hand i am bout 70% certain its region unlocked, now where can i find some diff region dvds to test it????

Hmmm.. You raising visions in my mind, of truckiez greasing Octroi post guyz with Viatamin M. So you sure no brand 5.1 cheaply available ?
I have / had the Monsoon Comp spkrs.. Made in Canada. They need a down step transformer here to bring 240 to 110 etc.
About DVD, try befriending an alien Mexican low paid customs guy or ask someone back here to stack n send.
What does the manual/ online review say? Am not on PC but give the brand/model. Will c if any hacks there for hardware..
..Am feeling sleepy..

@san...The Dell Inspiron is a good, sturdy, maintenance free laptop...albeit a bit heavy, but does the job extremely well....everybody in my company ( i.e those who qualify to get a company laptop) used to get a Dell Inspiron till a few months ago.....these days they have some Gateway laptops in stock...which also seem to be quite good......i use a gateway at work.....and an Acer Travelmate Folio edition ( thats my personal lappy) at home.
@sai...i can see youre havin a lot of fun in the "me want free gprs", "how do i find a loophole and use gprs for free" threads

Oh yes yes. Sanj- I meant for less than $285 CDN for the same thing. VFM and not cheapish. Infact Value For Money need not be cheap.
Anyway- instead of upgrading and stuff, go for something thats best available in current scenario.
Mostly, I doubt that you Dell wont support AC3 ! If it can take 2.1 it can also take 5.1

Thats great Man !
Tell us you haven't done stuff (or otherwise/ been Bluejacked) with the laptop.
Did you test the range between your new blazing baby (P910) and the laptop (for BT) ?
