The dsc-s50 is a 2 megapixel discontinued model by Sony. It was a good camera in the sense that it had a 3x optical zoom with a fast 2.8 maximum aperture which makes it a better than average performer in low light condition.
The price is reasonable if it will give you another 3 years of service. It may print a good 4r picture with software enhancements or a an average 3r w/o enhancements.
