Being half Dutch I agree Van Persie & Bergkamp r amazing, but am well miffed Aresnal won and Man U drew against Villareal, (they have Forlan!!!FORLAN!! I mean come on!)
I know I am getting really impatient waiting for this update. The test vid I saw of the new video quality looks gooood. Damn O2 branding, am contemplating using Davinci to get round it.

@ spanner
R1N035 is not yet available for some unbranded customizations, let alone the branded ones!

mrwoll, how would you use davinci to get round this? how does davinci work anyways? do you have to buy credits or something to be able to flash your fone etc?

Hi all just updated to R1N035, so far i have noticed, seems faster looking around photos, minor changes to the viewfinder, not tested cam or video yet. Mp3 sounds louder, and clearer. Although i have had a file error on a file that used to play fine?.
Not sure what everybody is going on about an extra signal bar though, i still have 5????
And the display seams to look clearer.....

I have never used DaVinchi before either, althought I do have the software downloaded. From what I gather you can debrand your branded phone by flashing to a different CDA version. Then once thats done you could just update as if your phone was unbranded.
About credits I think its something like $10 per flash but I am not sure at all.

I still await a screen picture for the K750i from someone that has sucessfully updated to R1N035 from R1L002 O2 Branded/locked...
I guess this is a wild goose chase after all...
and none seem to report any of the bugs I reported... can you duplicate the results, anyone?
Or are we all just trying to talk each other to sleep????
What I really want is a f/w that wont give me grief....
I have another 10 days to return my phone for another or a full refund...
I would try the w800i before giving up on SE all together....
I remember the T68i I had 8 of those and none kept the wap/mms settings for anytime I switch phone on/off I gave up in the end...
The phone then unbranded from Carphone Warehouse cost £349 and They sucked so bad I had trouble (but got it) to get a refund on the grounds That they had failed to provide a working handset regardless of the return policy period... (the worst in the Market by the by) Never returned to shop at CW and that is a long time ago.... rant over!
After this bad experience I am not sure about SE at all...
People mention O2 must be carefull after failings over GPRS w/ previous f/w but I recon it is SE to blame.... after all they make the phones and it is theire reputation on the line for users like myself that have had the failed T630 and pop3 failings...
Add that to a T68i and we got some snow ball forming.

anyone else notice, when you open the lens cover, the viewfinder is slower to load up than R1L?

Am seeing mixed opinions on the new firmware, I still want to try it tho. But does anyone know a way of backing up current firmware from the phone to be able to restore if the new firmware isnt up to scratch?
