Ive had many screen freeze problems with my K800i, where the screen flashes white and doesn't return to normal, no button pressed changes the screen and you cant turn it off. Happens after i unplug it from the PC, even though i used 'safely remove hardware' as it tells you to do.
Anyone else had the same problem?

I received my K800i today on O2 UK online tariff. Apart from the security seal being in the wrong place (I think - see photo attached below) the packaged arrived safely. I am happy with it so far apart from a couple of minor build niggles:
1) The LCD screen is placed about 1mm off centre to the left of the screen window of the case.
2) The Joystick seems to stand slightly angled to the right when in neutral position.
Apart from that I have been enjoying playing with it, and taking some pics, which appear very nice and clear. However, the phone did reboot itself once so far when I was playing a MP3 ringtone I bluetoothed across.

If the battery says it's full, it's full.
Lithium ion batteries would explode if overcharged, there are monitored and cut off charging when full, 12 hours applied to ni-cd batteries 5 years ago!

That seal is defo in the wrong place to the point of it now being a seal or secure.
I'd send it back regardless because of the joystick placement.

@nemo66
Your post in response to my sig. has a very critical tone, and other people agree with me, but if you didn't mean to offend, then no worries...
Cheers

Before you try to criticise what somebody has written, especially in their signature, please read what their current one is. That signature is about a month old from when I first go the N80 before the K800, I only wrote because I was truly gobsmacked by its quality in all departments, however, since aquiring the K800, I since realise that yes the photos are better, no the video isn't as good, but well improved, but that isn't completly what my signature suggest. In s software department, the K800 stands no chance, UIQ v Symbian, no comparison! So there the N80 wins for software and video, and th K800 in photos. I've been on these forums long enough to know a good phone and how to compare them!
In future, I suggest you don't use your first post as a criticism of a another person, unless you've got some experience!
Cheers!

I honestly don't see how he's critiszing your signature - he's merely expressing his point of view in regards to your signature. Being new on the board has nothing to do with the ability of a person to express their opinion. I believe nemo66 did a rather good job of doing exactly that and it just so happens that his opinion of the software differs from yours. As this is a discussion board, you could have/should have asked or at least addressed his post regarding the buggy software and poor memory maangement instead of getting all defensive and trying to 'put him in his place' as a new poster. This attitude is not constructive on a a discussion board - it seems to represent some sort of elitism which in truth does not exist on this board.
By your logic, I"ve been on this board a year longer than you => I must be even better at judging a good phone than someone who happened to stumble upon this board yesterday...

I fully agree with Tervel. There was no criticism whatsoever. Unless SE Rules feels so if someone does not agree with him.
