@monkeypantz
That makes me dubious now; I'm using a Swedish VISA still and haven't arsed myself to get Bank Of America just yet.

@mckinley - hopefully your transaction is smooth! but it sounds like you'll have to verify yourself somehow unless you've ordered from them before in the past.

@ermac84,

Based on your photo, I don't see any problem with the viewing angle. Can you or anybody tell me what or how to judge the viewing angle problem here, maybe I don't see it. Thanks.

my 64gb sd card is not working in my Z1 but I think it is the card not the phone, 16gb works fine and I have read of other people running 64gb cards without issue, I'll have to find some way of testing it in another device - is never worked in my lappy

@MyP910 - the wider the viewing angle, the more the colors, brightness and clarity of the screen stay the same. If a screen has 178 degree viewing angle, it means that for 178degrees (where 90 degrees is straight on), the screen looks the same as it does straight on with no change in color, contrast, brightness and clarity.

When people are talking about poor viewing angles with the Z and Z1, they are referring to the fact that the color and contrast of the image start to fade and at wider angles, colors become lighter and lighter. You can definitely see in Ermac's photos that at a wide angle, the colors are lighter than his straight on photo. But, I don't think it's as terrible as people make it out to be. It actually looks pretty good to me for a phone. If it were a TV, i wouldn't be happy, but it's not a TV

@geoffxx - but the 64gb card worked in your ZU? Have you tried a USB card reader with your laptop? or call up a buddy and ask to try it.

@moogoo,

Thanks. I just checked my Vaio Duo 11 and yes, the colour/brightness etc consistent at any angle whereas in ermac photos, the colour fade/change a bit at the extreme angle but the Galaxy Note 3 also changes its colour at the extreme angle.

well when you have an essentially white/light gray background, of course viewing angles aren't gonna look great

i seem satisfied with what i've seen from people who have gotten theirs here on Esato. So far, no one has come on saying they are somewhat disappointed. On the contrary, each and every one has come here saying how amazing the screen is. and that's great

Clove is causing that much trouble for you guys?!?! They only asked for my ID, which I emailed to them 5 minutes later after they asked for it with my picture and dob censored. They accepted it, and went on to process my order.

@moogoo Handtec charges about 6 pounds more for shipping, which kind of ends up being the same price as Clove.

oh i see. well if it's all the same, then it's all the same. i just don't like having to send a copy of my ID to a foreign company if i don't need to. i guess it's a bit of paranoia but hey.. in this digital age, your ID is everything..
