Perhaps E6683 is not Z4 with 2k but the q4 flagship. The reason is the flagship for q1 2014 is the Xperia Z2 with the model number D65XX same as the recent Z4 E6533 as the q1 flagship. The Q4 2014 flagship is Z3 with the model number D66XX and its the same as E6683. The E6683 is the q4 flagship of 2015 and it's confirmed from my explanation.

It all kind of makes sense, launch a range of new devices in different colours, sizes and a new design and people will take notice. Whatever the new name will be expect the new 'main' flagship to be in the new bond film which opens up in November Q4, right on time for the supposed release of the proper flagship of 2015.

If E6683 really is the q4 main then it is a mystery of why the international z4 model number is missing from this list as the japanese z4 is there as well as most if not all 2015 xperia devices.

If it's the international version of z4 the number would not be too far off for example the Japanese z4 is E6533, the international version perhaps would be E6543 not E6683. I think Sony just skip the international z4 for the q4 flag
