ok.. Listen up.. Just open web and connect it so that you see the two parallel lines at top right.. Now minimize it and open any other application.. Like rediff bol:) as it requires little memory..(make sure the web connection is still connected..)now connect with rediff bol.. Make sure it connects with a different account.. Now it will show you error.. Thats perfectly alright.. On seeing the error just close rediff bol.. Open the minimized web and voila you have the full internet..

dheeraj thank you very much man. your trick is working like a charm. I did all the things you had said and downloaded IDM which i think is one of the best download manager. Now i get very good downloading speed of around 4 to 6 KBps and sometimes it goes upto 10 KBps.
WOW! If you are getting more than 5KBps speed using 6600, then it's a miracle. Anyways, I'm getting only 5KBps in both MO and LIVE using my N70 and 6630.

@AlanDS
Yes alan i was also surprised when i saw the speed and another thing is the speed gets even better in the night. In the night most of the times i get 7 to 8 KBps. I have already downloaded 50 to 60 MB of data in 2 days.

I get speeds of 6 or more kBps while downloading.. But the problem is that they keep fluctuating..
I get speeds of 13 kBps in bsnl.. So thats (13 x 8 ) 104kbps... So does that mean bsnl is providing edge facility?
