The pricing of the Xperia P is too high in certain places. For eg: India. It's almost priced similar to the S2.

Finally a decent camera put on Xperia P after years of mediocre camera (xperia arc, xperia S)...
Looks to me like the same sensor as used in the iPhone 4S. The samples look very similar.

If the xperia GX 13 MP pictures looks like xperia P will be a huge step for sony in mobile phone for photo's enthusiasts.
And if xperia P will be priced under 400 euro will be a best buy medium phone.

Not to disappoint but GX samples on Xperiablog look very similar to Xperia S photos.

First Xperia GX sample photo pics
They were taken in the DoCoMo Smartphone Lounge in Umeda, where the handset is available to demo. Apparently these were taken on the international version of the Xperia GX i.e. without the NTT DoCoMo logo on the front. The 13MP images are around 2.5MB each in size and look pretty good to our eyes, especially considering the low light environment.

First of all, the GX almost dwarfs the Arc.
Secondly, that 1st snap is terrific for a low light effort.

I would disagree. The Xperia S camera seems to suffer from an effect where it almost adds a milky filter over the entire image, and blacks tend to be a bit more grey. The sample pics we've seen from the GX have absolutely no trace of that at all, and the images look far cleaner and realistic IMO. I'm extremely pleased with what I'm seeing so far as it was a problem I was having when looking at the Xperia S's camera.

The look terrible for ISO-64 and ISO-100 shots. They have 2011 xperia line/Xperia S oversharpening, chroma noise and overall bad quality written all over them. They may be early samples, but it looks just bad.
