But Sony has made the Xperia E with Jelly Bean and an S1 processor. And the S1 based Xperia J will also be updated to JB
That's right, but Xperia E and J use MSM7227A - S1 processor, released in Q4 2011, while Xperia S uses MSM8260 - S3 processor, released in Q3 2010. So the one used in Xperia S is much older. And Qualcomm doesn't support it anymore.
EDIT: Galaxy S2 Skyrocket uses APQ8060, S3 processor, released in Q2 2011, much newer than the one used in Xperia S. So its Sony's fault for releasing XS with outdated processor.

Finally you bashed
. Oh you're confused, right ?
You see honey, Xperia S is a 100%
product just rebranded to SONY in the final stage. So yes, it's
fault to continue their pathetic habit of releasing devices with last gen CPU.
Just like Arc, Arc S, X10
IF
was still around their 2013 flagship would have been Xperia T with dual core S4 krait

This will likely be true for the carrier branded ones, but unbranded devices will see the update before.

Was wondering when we'd finally get an excuse... ah yes, the ol' blame Sony Ericsson excuse is back
If SE were still around we'd probably be seeing the very same stuff, quit trying to shift the blame to a company that no longer exists, Sony must take full responsibility, its their name on the front of that product.

+1 I see Sony logo there, not Sony Ericsson.

It doesn't mean it was they that developed the device, that worked on it. Now, they are. But the hardware choices weren't made by Sony, but

They’ve also mentioned the Xperia S, Xperia SL, Xperia ion and Xperia acro S in parentheses, which makes us think that perhaps these updates will come after the Xperia P and Xperia go.
