Well, that's just Sony, what else can you expect...
It's so funny how upset I was with Sony's stupid decision to ditch the 2011 Xperias right after their practically useless and extremely buggy 4.0 update was released, without having a rough idea of how much will the situation worsen afterwards...

Just be patient. I was always disappointed with
's software ever since they shifted to android. But with Z and T they seem to be have been on the right track. The update is not that faraway and I can understand your frustration.

Unfortunetly that would mean Sony would have to have XBox in their phones and I'm sure they'd never agree to that, especially with XBox360 pretty much owning Playstation 3 in market share.
The funny part is that going WP may be the best route for Sony as they wouldn't have to worry much about software optimization and updates, two things they truly struggle with, all they will have to do is make a very pretty shell, something they are brilliant at, do some marketing and let MS handle most of everything else.
