Either way, out of principle I'll go the extra mile to get a non-branded phone; thank goodness for places like Carphone Warehouse that have the financial clout to keep sim-free handsets on a par or less, price-wise, with branded handsets. A royal 'up yours' to all the network branders, LOL!

Wanqs,well I didn't know there was a Hansie movie until now and I doubt I'm alone on this one, so I'm quite sceptical with regards to it being a hit...

T-Mobile has confirmed it is in no way restricting the use of the phone. The network that offers flexible web'n'walk packages recently introduced its Blackberry Pearl in white and will be launching its Wi-Fi service on the Heathrow Express next week."

It kinda blows Voda's argument out the water, the fact that other networks are delivering it without any such concerns, and not the network that brags about being the biggest etc.

Some of Those networks are so full of crap. I remember when the N81 was released some Euro network said they weren't gona stock it because it came with Nokia's Music Store app which would mean people wouldnt buy music from the network's Music store.
Vodacom's C905 should have Wi-Fi since Vodacom have that whole Wi-Fi Roaming thing now as well where you pay normal GPRS rates to use any Wi-Fi hotspots.

I finally got skyfire to work, and wow! What a great browser that is, it loads the pages beautifully facebook works nearly like on a pc. I can do much more with it than i could with opera mini. And compared 2 the defaul browser it also beats it, tryin to open facebook with the default browser just is a mission for me. I dont enjoy it at all, but on skyfire its just simple, to move around and click on links takes awhile but im using gprs so i would think with 3g it would be much better. And youtube is alright the video plays but its not good its more like a picture slideshow. Maybe with 3g it would be better. Overall im enjoyin skyfire very much

Ya Dogmann's X1 was on eBay with a buy-it-now for all of £500; amazingly it was sold within a day or so for that.
I say amazingly, because they're available from Expansys and Mobilefun and elsewhere for the same money. Oh well, maybe the buyer had some Paypal credits or something, or didn't google that much.
