@Xperia Junkie
1)Is the status LED nice? is it clear to see? is it personalizable like in the Xperia SP/U?
2) Are there any problem in the focus in low light? (here on a site A blogger says that his Z1 has great problem focusing in the dark and never finds focus:/ )...

@CrownedAkuma at first I thought it was a strange place to put the LED inside the earpiece but it actually makes sence. Most people will have the phone flat while charging (unless you use the dock) the LED is brighter than the one on the Z and it seems to fill the whole earpiece making the effect of the LED more noticable. I havn't had much time to take low light photos yet to test the focusing but I will try tonight as post the results.
Just had a look and there is no way to customise the LED's just the standard red, green and blue colours.

In other words, he's complaining about a reflective display just hours after getting it? Picky person.

if you look at the first iphone5s photo, you can clearly read the texts on the book to the left side of the photo. sony's photo is very noisy. they dropped the aggressive noise reduction but now you can't clearly read photo details because of the noise. same thing with the s4. they have the right combination of detail and lighting.

It's very simply why really. The Z1's ISO set was 1250. The iPhone was 320.
Come with an equal ISO shot and talk.

For a picture taken with ISO 1250, the noise level is good. Normally I don't like to take picture with high ISO due to the noise, but this is acceptable. Good job Sony.
If you look at pic3, with Z1, you can read the word COSMO clearly on the yellow banner and you can't read that on the iphone.

these shootouts are funny. after sony announced the Z1 and released that independent testing result to the world, Lumia and Apple users have taken great offense and seem to go out of their way to create skewed "shootouts" to make the Z1 camera look bad. It's funny. It reminds me of TV commercials between Verizon and AT&T.. "we have the fastest LTE network in the country" blah blah blah.. back and forth.
The only way to really test is to find a Sony fanboy who's a decent to good photographer and a Nokia/Apple fanboy who's a decent to good photographer and let them independently shoot it out and THEN compare.
Then there can't be any complaints to bias and whatever.
I'll be happy to take a crap ton of pics once i get my Z1 in a few days. I would rate my photography skill as intermediate to advanced, but not professional
I'll be posting them here and in the photo thread.. and hopefully in a full review if i ever find the time to write one up!
