Can you please tell us what level of XR is that? this would be a surprise. if sony going to announce a flagship refresh only around may then they won't have enough time frame to announce a new flagship at IFA. you know... sony.

no, but that date is still a wishlist because it comes from a site that claims a concept phone to be Z2.

I was told that there will be no flagship phones at MWC only mid range devices and tablet(s). Since this is from a very good source I would say it is
XR4 to
XR5.
The Z1 successor is supposed to be released late July early August in the US and usually the US releases are a month or two behind the rest of the world. The Z2 or whatever we cant to call it is going to be the first global Sony phone. With that in mind the release will most likely be phased.

so sad and i am a begging to get a Sony smartphone not able too,so the guys from XDA are using testing phone,so no release of that phone in MWC.....screwed
@Dacha i have one question,what/when/How will Sony be competitive to S5/IP6...........if they dont release

well, actually that or the z ultra successor.
if that's the case then i think it would be wise for sony to annouce the next z ultra at IFA to go head to head with the note. but does that mean they are going to bump the spec the s805 and 2k display to be competitive with s5?
